How much fee do umpires get per match in IPL?
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the world’s most talked-about league, where the biggest cricketers are involved because of the huge amount of money involved.
The salaries of most of the cricketers are often discussed on social media, but the match fees of the umpires are not given much attention; that’s why people don’t know about it.
Now a report by India Today has revealed the salaries of the umpires involved in the Indian Premier League.
In IPL 2025, the on-field umpires get INR 3 lakh per match, while the fourth umpire is paid INR 2 lakh per match.
On the other hand, the team playing the match in IPL 2025 and the substitute player also earn INR 750,000, which is in addition to the salary received by the franchise under the contract.
It should be noted that the final of the ongoing IPL season will be played on May 25 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
